Victoria Beckham Opened Up Her Beauty Regimes
The former Spice Girl said in an interview for the latest issue of British InStyle magazine that her and the footballer are not worried about getting older.
She said: "I have no problem with surgery at all but for me, it looks ridiculous when you have a face that looks 25 and a body that looks 65. I think it's much more modern to go for a natural look.
"But ask me next year and that might change."
David, 35, and Victoria admitted to using alternative therapies.
The 36-year-old said: "We both like crystals, as in crystal energy."
Victoria also praised the oxygen facials she gets from a dermatologist.
She added: "Dr Lancer has really sorted my skin out."
Although Posh says she definitely doesn't use fake tan.
Beckham said: "I've embraced whiteness. I don't use any tanning products. Sometimes in photographs I look orange, which is really random, because I don't use fake tan at all."

Beauty Secret Question Makes David Beckham Blush!
David Beckham has always been known for his looks alongside his soccer skills, but the star was left absolutely baffled when grilled about his beauty secret.
While fielding questions about the 2018 World Cup bid, Beckham was suddenly asked about his film star looks by a flirtatious female radio reporter.
Stephanie Oehen, a pretty host for Zurich rock station Radio 24, said, "Forget the secrets of the England bid, what are your beauty secrets?"
As laughter rang out in the background, Beckham nervously rubbed his designer stubble, played with a microphone and looked at his feet.
"I don't know - having three boys to chase, that keeps me fit of course. Oh my goodness, you've got me flustered," the Daily Express quoted him as the footballer finally replied.
He then tried to deflect Oehen by telling her he still had a year left on his contract with Californian soccer team LA Galaxy.
Oehen, 23, said afterwards she was delighted simply to ask the world's most famous footballer a question.
"It's every girl's dream. He's gorgeous. I just wanted to know how he does it," she said.

Liv Tyler's Natural Skin Care Routine Shines in Givenchy ad
Liv Tyler has shown the benefits of a natural skin care routine, by forgoing cosmetics and styling in a Givenchy fragrance advert.
Grazia reported that the Lord of the Rings actress posed for some pre-styling pics during a shoot for the high-end cosmetics brand and looked so good without natural makeup that the untouched images were eventually chosen.
With naturally wavy hair lying in a relaxed parting, Liv's strong features and flawless complexion were deemed to be far more striking than the shots that were taken after she had sat in the stylist's chair.
Speaking of the shots, Liv said: "There's something quite raw about it. I feel unafraid of exposing myself and the woman I am today ... My hair was wet and I had no makeup on."
It's not just the youngsters that can look amazing when they leave the cosmetics in their makeup bag – yesterday, the Daily Mail reported that Diana Ross looked fabulous when she went natural makeup-free at a US airport.

Amanda Seyfriend Is the New Face of Clé de Peau
It seems beauty companies are tiring of the usual celebrities and are reaching out to more up-and-coming stars who resonate with a younger generation. It was just announced that Amanda Seyfriend has signed on to be the face of Clé de Peau. She will star in ads that launch in Japan this month and in the USA in March.
Amanda was drawn to Clé de Peau's emphasis on skin care and because of their high-end makeup. Yet, despite her new role as a brand ambassador, Amanda confesses fashion and beauty can sometimes take the back burner. She says:
At some levels I’m good at fashion and putting myself together, and then, some days I’m completely absent-minded about it.
Congrats to Amanda on landing this campaign! We can't wait to see the ads!

Demi Moore Spends $150,000 a Year on Skincare Treatments
A source says the actress “is always in search of the newest anti-aging treatment!”
Holy Wrinkle Creams, BFFs! Did you know that Hollywood beauty Demi Moore spends over $150,000 a year on costly skincare treatments? Can you imagine?!? Read on and I’ll give you the scoop!
According to Daily Mail UK, the gorgeous actress is fond of Thermage skin-tightening treatments, a non-invasive procedure that uses radio frequency to heat the deepest layers of the skin while keeping the surface cool, resulting in a plumping and firming of the skin’s appearance.
The treatments are worth over $3000 a pop and Demi is reported to love the effects so much she sometimes goes more than once a week! That’s an estimated $150,000 on just skin treatments, people!
Demi’s no stranger to the costly skin treatment controversy. It’s rumored that she had over $320,000 worth of surgery after she turned 40 and before filming Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. She reportedly had an entire body overhaul, including almost $26,000 on liposuction, a generous $32,000 for a face lift, and $15,000 on breast implants. She reportedly even had a knee lift!
Can you IMAGINE what the annual cost of her beauty routine must be?!? We’re not even talking about facials with a celebrity esthetician, body treatments, maintenance products (moisturizers, eye creams, night creams, body creams, etc.) I’m willing to bet my own beloved night cream that the annual amount spent on Demi’s beauty could keep most of us in Louboutins for years!

4 Quick Fixes for Hair Emergencies
Hair Problem: You've cut your bangs too short
Quick Fix: To help disguise the length of your bangs, sweep them to the side until they grow out rather than wearing them straight down on your forehead. Coat damp bangs with a pea-size drop of light-hold gel, then blast them to the side with a blow-dryer. You can also camouflage your handiwork by pulling the hair off your forehead with stylish bobby pins or a headband.
Hair Problem: Split Ends
Quick Fix: Split ends cannot be fixed or mended; they can only be cut off. Be gentle with your hair and use a deep conditioner twice a week to help prevent further damage. Try to minimize the stress on your strands between cuts by avoiding vent brushes with plastic bristles, shampooing every other day and protecting hair from heat-styling by using a leave-in conditioner.
Hair Problem: You OD'd on highlights and your hair's bleached out
Quick Fix: Look for an allover, demi-permanent color (a long-lasting, temporary dye that washes out in four to six weeks) in a hue one shade deeper than your highlights to get rid of brassiness. If your hair still isn't the shade you want, head to the salon to have a professional weave in some lowlights to reintroduce the darker undertones you've lost.
Hair Problem: Dry, Dull Hair
Quick Fix: Try leave-in conditioners that can add moisture to your hair and protect it from environmental damage that could lead to additional moisture loss. Look for products that contain hydrating botanicals such as rice milk, bamboo milk and milk thistle. Alternate your regular shampoo with a clarifying one once every few weeks to prevent product buildup.

Top 5 Beauty Trends and Tips for the Holidays
Glowing Skin
Often ignored, what you do and don't do with your skin can truly make or break an outfit. What's the point of donning a knock-out strapless party dress when you've got dead skin flaking from your elbows? Two easy steps can make all the difference. Start by sloughing off winter's dry skin by using a moisturizing scrub, like Glow Rescue's Organic Sugar Scrub in peppermint and lavender ($38 for 473 millilitres at BeautyMark [1120 Hamilton Street]). The mix of essential oils, including sunflower, sweet almond, jojoba, macadamia, and wheatgerm, exfoliates skin, while vitamin E moisturizes for a baby-soft, supple feel. Next, lock in moisture with one of three seasonal body butters ($20 each) from the Body Shop (various locations). Spiced Vanilla and Cranberry Joy will leave your skin smooth with a festive scent, while Coconut Shimmer will give your skin an added glow—great for shoulders and arms when you're wearing sleeveless dresses.
Ocean-Inspired Nails
This season's nail trend is all about shimmering oceanic hues. For a bold look, try a lusciously dark blue, such as Ming Blue ($13) by MAC Cosmetics (various locations), or a festive forest green, like Anna Sui's shimmer nail polish in 90 ($15 at Sears [various locations]). If your outfit is colourful enough, glistening shades of silver or gold are also trendy choices. L'Wren Scott created a daring gunmetal shade for Lancome ($16, at Holt Renfrew [737 Dunsmuir Street]), or if you prefer to dip your nails in gold, try Christian Dior's Timeless Gold ($21 at Holt Renfrew).
Retro Hair
With this season's Mad Men –inspired retro fashions, hair naturally followed in its prim and proper, feminine steps. For girls with longer locks, infuse moisture into winter's dry locks with John Masters Organics Shine On ($39 for 118 millilitres at BeautyMark). This organic leave-in product keeps hair smooth and silky, a perfect base whether you choose to wear your hair up or down. Complete a vintage look by trying a modern beehive, which sits lower on the head than its 1960s inspiration, or a low ballet bun is a great way to put statement jewellery in the spotlight. If you prefer to wear your hair down, achieve soft and bouncy waves with John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Dream Curl Perfecter Spray ($9.99 for 200 millilitres at London Drugs [various locations]). For girls with of-the-moment pixie cuts, add playful texture to your 'do with the Body Shop's Beeswax Texturing Wax ($10).
Cat Eyes
Unleash your feline instincts with cat eyes this holiday season. This look can be worn two ways: with defined precision or with the subtle use of shadows. For the classic, black liquid-liner look, try Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner ($26) or Geisha Ink's Liquid Eyeliner ($30) from BeautyMark. With markerlike brush tips, both products make drawing lines effortless even for the shakiest of hands. If you'd rather stay away from liquid eye liner altogether, achieve cat eyes by sweeping two or three shadows across the eyelids. MAC's eye-shadow duos and trios are perfect for experimenting with different hues. The Illusionary/Burning Ambition duo ($19.50) complements all skin tones with its blend of golden colours, while the Style Influencer trio ($19.50) will let you play with shimmering silver, deep blue, and mauve brown.
Classic Red Lips
Red lips are always in style and a great colour boost to pale winter skin. Yves Saint Laurent's Rouge Pur Couture ($30 at Sephora [various locations]) comes in 10 shades of red, from bright orange-red, to vampy maroon. While red lips look great on everyone, paying attention to subtle differences between pigments and finding the right one for your skin tone can really make the colour pop. Those with cooler skin tones should veer towards shades of red that carry almost a blue tone, such as deeper plums. Girls with warmer skin tones should look for bright reds with a hint of orange to complement your golden complexion. If you're making a big statement with the rest of your beauty look, such as trying out the smoky cat eye using a trio of colours, keep the rest of your makeup simple, including your lips. NARS offers two creamy, nude hues that you can layer with your lip gloss, Honolulu Honey and Promiscuous ($24 each at Sephora), to achieve a polished yet subtle look

How to be Stylish During Pregnancy
Q: What are some favorite accessorizing tips?
A: Long, layered necklaces. In pregnancy, you never want to wear a choker. You want to wear necklaces that create verticality. It's a trick of the eye and also creates a focal point. One of my other favorite, favorite tricks is scarves, long scarves. In the first trimester, they cover your belly and kind of mask your mound until you're ready to spill the beans.
Q: What key pieces should every pregnant woman invest in?
A: The five key pieces are a long Lycra tank top, a pair of leggings, a pair of maternity jeans, a multitasking black dress - empire waist is preferable- and a black maternity pencil skirt. What's so cool about the maternity pencil skirts is that you can add the black tank top and create this column effect where it just looks like a really tight dress. So the whole trick is buying these basics that are fade-into-the-woodwork boring, but fit well. And then you bump them up - that's why I named (the book that) - with accessories.
Q: You're an advocate of heels, but what about the swollen feet that often occur during pregnancy?
A: You don't have to wear a spike heel. You can wear a slide. You can wear a clog. You can wear a cowboy boot. You can wear a kitten heel. There are so many options. Heels don't mean spike heels. Heels just mean having a lift, getting that height, elongating your silhouette. You should wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and say, "How can I be a long, lean baby-making machine?" It takes just as much time to make a bad fashion decision as it does to make a good fashion decision.
Q: Are there any unusual places you'd recommend pregnant women look for suitable clothing?
A: One of my favorite places to go shopping is the swim department. The swim department of any department store has Versace-esque, Cavalli-esque (tunics). It's gauzy, it's perfect for summer.
Q: You're the mother of two kids. What was your favorite part about being pregnant?
A: Two things. First of all, I'm not a big eater. So I loved having cravings. I loved it. And also, I rose to the occasion. I stepped right up to the fashion plate. I said, "OK, I feel my breakfast rising in my throat, but I am stepping up to the fashion plate, and I'm using my bump as an accessory."

Celeste Hilling Offers Budget Beauty Tips
Celeste Hilling, CEO and founder of Skin Authority, says beauty can be attained for about $1.50 a day, or about the price of a cup of coffee. Here's how to invest in yourself - at any stage.
In Your 20s
At this age, when you're running around with your friends, going out a lot, partying, and likely living with a roommate or two, keep your skin care routine simple, a basic wash and protect (daily sun protection -- rain or shine) says Hilling. "Just don't fall asleep with your makeup on!" Also, get a workout in every now and then, and watch the diet.
In Your 30s
These are the multi-tasking years, says Hilling. "There's a lot of social stimulation, a lot of changes -- marriage, kids, career changes." That means just one thing: stress. And that becomes a factor for the skin. Furthermore, even if you've taken good care of your skin in your 20s, there's no escaping fine lines and wrinkles (especially around your eyes and mouth) and a complexion that looks blotchy/uneven/dull as cell turnover slows (to 28 days). Be proactive: resurface (that speeds up cell turnover), get facials regularly, introduce anti-inflammatory products to your regimen (Hilling suggests mango, shea butter, and salicylic acid), and practice stress-reduction techniques like yoga, Pilates and meditation. As for your diet? "No boxes or bags! Eat lots of lean proteins, fruits and vegetables," says Hilling.
In Your 40s
Think defense. You're losing more collagen and elasticity. Cells are now turning over every 45 days. Your skin is retaining less moisture. You're beginning to see cumulative sun damage. Your glow, is, well, gone. And you're stressed out -- career, kids, aging parents. To counter: resurface daily, beef up the antioxidants, keep exercising, and consider aromatherapy (jasmine, lavender, chamomile), says Hilling.
In Your 50s
Don't even think about retiring. Sure, you're up against a dry complexion and loss of elasticity (after all, it's now taking 60 days for cells to turn over), age spots, and expression lines that no longer disappear after you stop smiling. Chin up, says Hilling. "It's never too late to have healthy skin; it's just about adjusting the routine." At this stage, as you're perhaps considering using non-invasive procedures (such as fillers) or even surgery to enhance your looks, Hilling says you should also introduce weight-bearing exercise to build muscle mass and strengthen bones, eat healthy foods, and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Morning and Nighttime Skin Care Routines
Renowned beauty expert Laura Mercier, author of The New Beauty Secrets, shares easy morning and nighttime routines for a gorgeous, glowing complexion. Plus, the short list of products you need.
Regardless of your age, your face can fare very well with a few targeted items, listed as follows:
- Moisturizer with SPF for day
- Moisturizer without SPF or a night cream for night
- Eye cream (unless you're a teenager)
- Serum or a solution-oriented layering product
- Makeup remover
- Cleanser
You're A.M. Routine
- If you've cleansed properly the night before, you don't need to wash your face when you wake up. Splashing your face with water is just fine, although I personally like using a light cleanser. It makes my skin more supple and opens the pores so they can absorb moisturizer.
- Apply your serum or treatment product if directions specify daytime and nighttime usage.
- Apply your moisturizer with SPF or you can use a separate sunscreen if you're going to be exposed to very strong sun. If you want to wear makeup over your sunscreen, make sure it's a lightweight sunscreen. Some sunscreens are not compatible with makeup, and it's difficult to apply products on top of them.
- Apply your eye cream under your eye only. It's not necessary to use it on your eyelid in the morning, and it will interfere with any eye makeup you are wearing.
- Before you go to bed, you must wash your face. Otherwise, you're asking for blackheads, breakouts, and flare-ups. Do you really want to fall asleep with all that accumulated dirt, pollution, bacteria, and makeup on your face? This is something I've always been very good about. During my wilder days, when I'd come home at six in the morning after dancing all night, I'd always wash my face. I couldn't stand the idea of my dirty face touching my pillow. If washing your face every night isn't a habit for you already, it will become one over time, just like brushing your teeth.
If you're not wearing much makeup, use a cleanser that doubles as a makeup remover. Make sure it's a cleanser for your skin type and one that doesn't contain too much fragrance and detergent. You don't need those things when you just want to clean your face. If you are wearing makeup, use a specific remover and some quality cotton pads to get everything off, especially your eye makeup. - Follow with a cleanser for your skin type and pat your face dry.
- If you're using a serum or special treatment product, then the time to use it is after cleansing. (If you prefer, you can skip this step and move right to moisturizing.) Generally, serums go under your moisturizer. Use a few drops or as much as directed and smooth onto your skin. Unless directions specify that you must use day and night, you can reserve this step for your P.M. routine and use once a day.
- Moisturize with a cream or lotion that's SPF-free (you certainly don't need SPF at night!) or a night cream. Don't slap the cream onto your face, neck, and chest; really massage it in. That doesn't mean using half the contents of the jar, but taking the time to literally push the amount of product you need for your skin type into your pores while they are still open and boost the circulation to your face in the process.
- Apply your eye cream gently around your entire eye area, including your eyelid, but be careful not to get it into your eye. Again, take the time to really work it into your skin. Look for an eye cream that is packed with benefits, not one that simply moisturizes.

Summer Hairstyles to Try
Let's explore some pretty summer hairstyles, shall we?
1. The Beehive Lite: Give your hair a light teasing or simply pop one of the smallest Bumpits underneath, and then fold the hair over itself in a half-up, half-down style with some gel or hairspray. Fluff your hair with texturizing paste underneath, and lace a ribbon around the gathered hair up above.
Tip: Be sure to cover that Bumpit well.
2. The Loose Bun: Fold your bun in a fuzzy chignon for a highly romantic look. Hair that has not been washed for at least one day works best for this style, because it holds better when it's in an updo. A little lace looks great tied around a bun, but you can also do a wrap of your own hair, secured with a bobby pin.
Tip: Fuzzy hair is great, but kill side flyaways with a little hairspray. Think fluffy, not too frizzy.
3. The Ponytail + Volume: Add some salt spray to your hair before you put it up into a high ponytail. Push your ponytail in towards your head before you secure it tightly to keep a little added volume in the crown. Blast with freeze hairspray.
Tip: A brand-new elastic band has more holding power.
4. The Fishtail Braid: This will take some time, but the look is so cool. Use this guide to help you create the perfect fishtail braid. I especially love it with French-rolled sides or a side braid mixed in as well, but first things first!
Tip: This style will come easier to you after the first attempt.

Avril Lavigne Gives Shoe Advice
Avril Lavigne recommends covering your feet in body lotion to help them fit into shoes.
The 'Girlfriend' singer was given the tip during a photo shoot and says she now always uses it if she ever has trouble getting into her favourite pair of heels.
She advised: "If you can't get your foot in a high heel, put body lotion all over your foot and it'll slide in no problem - I picked up this tip on photo shoots."
Avril is famed for long-flowing locks and achieve them, she recommends only washing hair every other day to give it a chance to breathe.
She told Now magazine: "I wash my hair every other day as I don't think it's good to wash your hair daily and I always leave in my conditioner for an hour. I also like to use hairspray and serum."
Avril recently launched her new fragrance, Forbidden Rose, and says she thinks it's the perfect scent for any young woman.
The 25-year-old star said: "I've called it Forbidden Rose and the tag line is 'Dare to Discover', which resembles me and where I'm at style-wise. It's young, fresh and floral and the kind of fragrance you can wear during the day and evening.
"This is the first fragrance I've worn all the time and even my friends and sister love it - so much so that we all wear it at the same timeto smell the same."

Beyonce Knowles Beauty Tips
Here are some tips and tricks for looking as great as Beyonce:
- Lack of sleep shows up in your eyes. Beyonce keeps a pair of sunglasses with her at all times for instant glam!
- A dab of gold shadow in the corners of your eyes can help wake up your look. If you have caramel skin, gold is more subtle than white. For lighter skin, try a pearl or nude tone.
- Beyonce layers bronzers for a healthy glow. She loves L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze One Day gel (which she picks up at Walmart) and Scott Barnes Body Bling.
- Makeup primer, followed by powder, keep Beyonce's makeup in place on the red carpet. Waterproof mascara and false lashes help prevent smudging.

I'm good about sun protection… even if I’m just out for a jog, I always put Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer, £32, on my face. It’s really light and it has SPF20. But I should start putting some on my hands more – people always say you can tell your age by your hands and I never put any there.
My summer make-up is… quick and simple. Since having Mason, I don’t really have a lot of time to look in the mirror and primp myself like I used to. I like Smashbox Bronzer in Suntan Matte, £35 – and a pair of huge sunglasses always helps.
I travel as light as possible… I’ve condensed my stuff since having a baby. It’s pretty much just a diaper bag and a credit card in my pocket.
My aeroplane must-have is... Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Cream, £23. I’m not the kind of person who goes to the bathroom to make sure I look OK before I get off, but this is the thing I always have in my bag. I use it on my lips, and I’m always putting it on throughout the day.
To keep my hair healthy in the sun… I still take pre-natal vitamins, which I think really helps. And I love Federic Fekkai Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, £19 each. It just makes my hair really shiny.

'Twilight' Actress Ashley Greene Reveals Fitness Secrets
Ashley Greene has said - after posing for a magazine in a skimpy bikini - that she has no desire to be stick-thin.
She revealed: 'A lot of people like to be super-tiny, but I don't want a child's body - I want a woman's body that is extremely fit. It's so much sexier.'
The 23-year-old actress shares her fitness secrets with Women's Health.
In it, she describes the gruelling exercise routine that gave her the toned body she shows off in the latest Twilight movie, Eclipse.
'My body holds muscle really easily and I tend to bulk up [if I'm always lifting] weights,' the 5ft 5in beauty says.
So, during breaks in filming, Greene says she would do interval training including squats, abdominal planks and lifting kettle bells.
'I did side-planks for my obliques, which are one of my trouble areas,' she said. 'And traditional planks tone your back so you don't have that little bit of fat hanging over your bra. Ugh!'
Greene says she even arranged squat contests among her female co-stars.
When she's not training for the Twilight movies, Greene takes a more relaxed approach to exercise, doing Pilates or running three to five miles, three to five days a week.
'You put on your headphones and go off into your own little world,' says the actress who likes to run in a canyon near her Los Angeles home.
'If you're running outside and you have a beautiful view, you have this sense of being free.'

Two-Time Gold Medalist, Kerri Walsh Shares Her Bikini Beauty Tips
Since my work wardrobe consists of bikinis, people ask me all the time what I do to feel confident in a bathing suit. Over the years I've learned a thing or two and now that bikini season is in full swing, it's time to share my secrets!
- Fix your skin: Start with a clean canvas. Banish sun spots, redness, fine lines, and prominent veins with products like Murad’s Environmental Shield line.
- Groom please: In my line of work having smooth legs and a smooth bikini line are musts! I spent years waxing before I invested in laser hair removal and it was well worth it. I keep my skin moisturized with Basq Body Oil, a product I discovered when I got pregnant. It is light, clean smelling, and leaves my skin feeling soft and sexy.
- Work your buns: I find that if my buns look good, I'm less concerned about the rest of my body. Lunges, squats, and running are all staples in my fitness routine. I also focus on my core because a strong and healthy core equals a strong and healthy body. I practice Pilates and find that planks are perfect for toning my core while working other key muscles in my arms and shoulders.
- Don't limit exfoliation to your face: Exfoliation is such an easy way to make your skin glow and I swear that getting rid of that top layer of dull skin takes years off. Use an exfoliating glove or product a few times a week and you will look and feel like new.
- Ultimately, it's about what you eat: Drink lots of water, eat fresh leafy greens, and prioritize whole grains. If you splurge on a "no-no," up your intake of fruits and veggies to get back on track.

13 Best Low-Cost Tips to Better Skin
- Starting Your Day: Squeeze a lemon half into a glass of warm water and drink each morning before eating or drinking anything else. The natural diuretic will flush your liver and help prevent water retention. Results over an extended period include diminished cellulite, reduction in acne and an overall rejuvenated appearance.
- Wash with Pure Water: Many affordable water filters are available today, the Wellness filter, which can be installed on your shower head and sink faucet. People often spend plenty on great skin products only to wash them off with chlorinated water. Pure water washing keeps your skin better hydrated without nullifying the effectiveness of your products.
- Shower from Hot to Cold: Recreate the new day-spa trend of hot and cold plunge pools in your home shower. Start with a hot or warm shower, then turning the water completely cold for 30 seconds. You may repeat the hot-to-cold treatment up to eight times, although repeating it just once is a good start. The quick-change in temperature opens and constricts pores, pushing impurities out and potentially eradicating acne, keeping skin healthy, and creating that after-facial glow. 'Try it right before going out on the town or throwing a dinner party for a free beauty boost,'.
- Frownies: 'I suggest wearing them when you are alone or around those who love you, even if you look like you've been in a fight with a roll of packing tape,'. These natural stick-ons prevent you from frowning much more cheaply than Botox, diminishing the impulse to frown with each use. 'Think of it as expression training,'. 'Who wants to frown anyway?'
- Humidify. "Create a humid climate in your bedroom with a good quality humidifier,". For an even better fix, add rose essential oil to the humidifier (about 6 drops per gallon). Although the natural skin-enhancing effects of the humidity are temporary, you can do it nightly, - and be sure to use purified water.
- Low-impact Sports. High-impact sports stress the body's soft tissues. Avoid excessive high-impact sports. 'Runners should try an elliptical machine for at least some of their training,' she says.
- The Power of Oxygen. Oxygen is a very important rejuvenator. A popular protocol for cancer treatment and prevention, called the Budwig Diet, includes blending 2/3 cup organic cottage cheese with 6 tablespoons flaxseed oil; frozen berries may be added for flavor. 'This powerful combo delivers oxygen to a cellular level in the body and kicks up energy production in the cells,'.
- Mineral Makeup: 'By far, my favorite makeup is mineral makeup,'. 'I love Jane Iredale. I use their active light concealer, the loose powder a shade lighter than my skin tone, followed by an unshimmery bronzer, and then a matte blush. I top everything off with their D20 spray which is absolutely essential. It's the only mineral make-up that I believe makes you look younger versus older, and it's also a physical sun block that last all day.'
- Eyebrows: Find someone good in your area for an eyebrow shaping. 'It's amazing what a simple shaped eyebrow can do for your overall appearance,'.
- Easy Tooth Bleach: Bleach your teeth by gargling with hydrogen peroxide. Dentists recommend doing it once in a while to kill unwanted bacteria, 'and the side effect is whiter teeth for 79 cents,'.
- Stay Hydrated: A dehydrated face looks years older. Many cosmetic companies take a 'before' photo of a dehydrated model, then give her a bunch of water (and of course their miracle product) to take the 'after' picture, drink half your body weight in fluid ounces daily - and an additional eight ounces of water for every eight ounces of caffeinated beverages consumed.
- Omega 369: New evidence suggests plant omegas are more beneficial to the skin than fish omegas. 'I prefer Barleans Total Omega Vegan Swirl, made with flaxseed and borage oils,'. 'It actually tastes like a smoothie and doesn't cause any fish breath.'
- Sleep on Your Back. Side-sleeping eventually creates deep chest and face wrinkles. For an easy solution, take three towels - roll up two the long way and one short - then sleep with a long roll on either side and the short one under the knees to take pressure off the lower back. 'Think of the way you prevent a baby from rolling off the bed,'. 'Eventually you get used to the new position and won't need to use the towels.' She adds, 'Even if you only make it halfway through the night, you're better off than when you started.'

Five Crazy Beauty Rituals that Women Perform
- Waxing. Some women swear by this. They say that it makes sex more pleasurable... and it also doesn't hurt that their men find it sexy. Speaking of "hurt," this process is painful, and some of us also find it disturbing that there are men who prefer a look that predates our coming of age. But the practice is so widespread that there are even take-home bikini wax kits. Uh, we'd rather leave the hot wax on our labia to the professionals. Aussie Survey Says: Sex is Better with a Brazilian
- Stencils. Less invasive than a vaginal piercing... yet somehow also more ridiculous. Some sites sell stencils designed to help you replicate the look of various waxing treatments: The landing strip. The classic triangle. And then there are those, like Betty Beauty (a site dedicated to cutesy pube products), that have stencils allowing you to shave your hair into the shape of lightning bolts, stars, hearts and more.
- Hair Dye. Betty Beauty is even better known for their pubic hair dye, which we must admit intrigues us. Because if you're too chicken to dye the hair on your head electric blue, why not experiment with the hair down there first? Betty Beauty has classic colors like auburn, black, blonde and brown, but also offers some more offbeat colors, like Bridal (aqua blue), Fun (hot pink), Sexy (lilac) and Love (red). A New Look Down Under
- Pink Button Genital Dye. Okay. So this product is more for the bits that poke out of our pubic hair, but we felt it was crazy enough to warrant a mention. My New Pink Button is a "genital cosmetic colorant" meant to restore the pink to your, um, pink button. Personally, we're not letting that stuff anywhere near our crotches.
- Pube Perfume. We'll admit it. This doesn't actually exist. But scented hair removers like Coochy Shave Cream do—in flavors like Pear Berry and Green Tea.

Kate Moss Revealed her Beauty Secrets
If there's one supermodel that proves she has staying power, it's Kate Moss. Sure, Cindy and Naomi and Heidi have still got it, but Miss Moss is the one with the perfumes, the fashion line, the big bookings and mini-mes running all over town. Even after that cocaine scandal, Kate continues to reign and Fab and I tirelessly pore over snaps of her attempting to see how she does it. Today we got a little bit closer as the 35-year-old revealed her beauty secrets in an interview with The Times:
Iced water with cucumber; and waxing, definitely — it’s better than shaving. Moisturise, sleep — and happiness: that’s a beauty secret. I know I look different when I’m happy. I don’t really stick to one thing.
Got it. It's all about the water, moisturising, waxing and happiness. Which I do/am anyway so all I need is a little cucumber and then a rock star shall knock at my door.

4 Tips on Choosing Right Beauty Salon
- Get References
Talk to people whose haircuts you always seem to like. Find out what beauty salon they go to. You also want to find out who the stylist is. This is the best way to figure out what beauty salon to go to. If you ask family and friends, they will steer you in the right direction and you can stop getting bad hair jobs. - Services
You want to look at what the beauty salon offers as far as services. If you are the type of person that would like to get your nails and eyebrows done while you are there, make sure the salon you choose offers these services. You will only have to go one place to get it all done. Some salons offer a huge variety of services such as massage as well. - Price
Don’t worry so much about how much the services cost. Just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean you should do it. You will probably be sorry if you go for the cheaper cut in nine times out of ten cases. Worry more about how people look when they come out. You can judge everything by appearances at a beauty salon. Spend the extra money to get the right look. - Products
Make sure the products that the salon uses are products that won’t bother you. If you have allergies, this could be a problem. Make sure that you don’t end up breaking out or having an asthma attack while you are trying to get beautiful. You also want to make sure they are using good products. A salon that uses good products is usually better at what they do.

Susan Sarandon Reveals Beauty Secrets
At 63, Susan Sarandon looks better than many actresses 20 years her junior and this is something most media representatives usually agree on. The secret to looking this good, she says in a recent interview, has nothing to do with going under the knife or using who knows what secret ingredient, but rather with living a healthy life, surrounding herself by people who make her smile and, last but not least, quitting smoking.
“I don’t think you should try to look 22 when you are in your 60s. There is something odd about a woman who looks younger than she did 20 years ago. I’m not against anybody doing anything to themselves that makes them feel good, but aesthetically some fillers and stuff make people unrecognizable. I’ve never had fillers, and how can you get Botox when you’re an actor? I had under my chin sucked out once. I think we have to be supportive of each other, and if someone wants to get implants or tucks you hope that they will be fine and they will keep the essence of who they are and not go over the top,” Sarandon shares in the recent interview.
Another secret that is helping Susan look stunning even at the age of 63 is her having kicked the bad habit of smoking. We all know that cigarettes can make the face look much older than it actually is, but Susan Sarandon is the living example of that. Or so, that’s what people are telling her and she likes to believe. Once she quit smoking and started leading a much healthier life, she also made sure that she surrounded herself only by people who make her smile, because she knows laughter also works wonders for the skin.
“Young actors ask me: ‘Why is your skin so great; what is your product?’ and all I say is: ‘Stop smoking, that’s the big one.’ Laughing does a lot for the face. Do the things you enjoy. Surround yourself with good people. Denying yourself is not good for the face. You can’t be a bitter, angry person. Hatred is […] not great for your skin,” the actress concludes by saying.

Freida Pinto Revealed her Beauty Regime
Freida Pinto has revealed the secrets behind her beauty regime — lots of water and lots of sleep!
The Slumdog Millionaire actress prefers to stay natural when it comes to her looks but says that takes even more care than a ton of make-up.
“I don’t have too many beauty tips because I am not fond of wearing too much make-up but the first would be to drink a lot of water because water really cleanses your system and it keeps you fresh and your eyes looking fresh,” said the 25-year-old.
“I also recommend adding a lot of fruit and vegetables to your diet and not making it too meat centric.
“The next one would be sleep well – sleep is as important as food and water and keeps you looking fresh the next day. So if you get a good 8 hours sleep it always helps. It all still takes work.”

Katie Price Slammed Over Sunbed Endorsement
Katie Price has caused a row with health experts for describing her regular use of sunbeds as an essential part of her beauty regime.
The star says that toasting herself under skin-ageing UV lights is, ironically, one of the most important secrets of her skincare system.
The model - who's boyfriend Alex Reid is currently also sporting a fake-tanned looked on Celebrity Big Brother - says she gave up using tan out of a bottle because she didn't like the smell.
She also recommends the use of Botox around the eyes to get rid of wrinkles.
Katie bigs-up Botox and sunbeds in her latest book Standing Out, out in paperback this March, which is described by publishers as "revealing all her top tips on looking and feeling good."
The glamour model, also known as Jordan, says: "Looking after my skin is not my strong point but the two things that do make my skin look better are sunbeds and Botox.
"I used to use spray tan but it stinks so now I use sunbeds. I know people say they’re dangerous and can give you skin cancer but I don’t smoke, I hardly drink and we’ve all got to die of something, so that’s just my choice.
"I get my forehead and around my eyes Botoxed every six months and I love it. You can’t beat it. It just freezes all the wrinkles and that’s what you want but I’d never have a full face lift, I’ve seen what they can do to people and I don’t want to go through that."
But Julie Barratt, of government health watchdog the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, was furious that Katie - a role-model for many impressionable teens - gave such advice.
She said: "Whilst Jordan is right to say that we all have to die of something, it is reckless to say that the risk of skin cancer is one that she is prepared to take.
"Skin cancer is the fastest-growing cancer in the UK and the most common in young people – to advocate behaviour that is acknowledged as being a risk factor is glib.
"Each individual must make their own life style choices, but the CIEH strongly urges individuals to consider the very real risks to their health associated with use of sunbeds and to protect their health rather potentially compromise it. If people want the appearance of a suntan fake is better than bake, and safer as well.

Katy Perry to Endorse Secretive Skincare Range Proactiv
Katy Perry will endorse Proactiv, a secretive skincare range that includes an anti-acne product.
The Sun newspaper said Perry's decision was a result of her own teen battles with acne, a skin condition that adds to the awkwardness that goes with youth.
Aa an adult, Perry, who just became engaged to Russell Brand, has flawless skin. But she has said: 'I got acne at the start of my career. It was stressful. I have acne scars which I'm self-conscious about.'
Her secret will be shared with 58 countries around the world. In Australia, the product is endorsed by celebrity Delta Goodrem. It does not offer testers at the counter and has a secretive aura. American celebs Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt have endorsed it.
Proactiv spokesman Ben Van de Bunt said: 'We are paying people consistent with what we have done in the past - millions of dollars.'
The newspaper suggests Perry's fee for the deal is $4 million.

Sophia Loren's Tips for Ageless Beauty
What many younger viewers may not have realized is that Loren has been noted for her natural beauty for most of her career.
A month before her 72nd birthday in 2006, Sophia was voted the world’s most naturally beautiful person, topping stars one-third her age, such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
At the time, the Italian actress said she owed her natural beauty to “a love of life, spaghetti, and the odd bath in virgin olive oil.” Bathing in olive oil was actually a custom in ancient Rome.
Taking a bath in olive oil may be impractical, but the next best thing is to gently apply some extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil to your face ( avoid getting too close to the eye area) and remove any excess oil after ten minutes.
In other interviews, Sophia has credited her posture for her ageless beauty. She also says she doesn’t do anything that makes her look old, like shuffle when she walks or slump over.
She calls discipline “the great equalizer.”
“If a young woman is beautiful but has no discipline, she will lose her looks as she grows older. If a plain woman is disciplined she will undoubtedly become more beautiful with time,” she says.
She also says to avoid colors that are not flattering for you. “Purple is the only shade I never wear except as an occasional accent. It is too violent a color for me,” she says.
Loren also claims to never have had plastic surgery, and rejects the notion that women must fit some unnatural ideal of beauty.

The Magic of Eight to Make you Beautiful
- Wild Salmon
Why it makes you look good: Salmon contains skin beautifying omega-3 fatty acids that hydrate and help reduce redness and inflammation. Salmon also contains selenium, which improves various skin problems and overall skin health. "Salmon is one of those super foods," Simpson says. If you don't like the taste of salmon, you can take omega-3 supplements.
Also eat: sardines and mackerel - Blueberries
Why they make you look good: They're sweet and loaded with vitamin C and immune-boosting antioxidants that stimulate collagen production to help keep skin smooth and supple. Berries also help combat toxins in the body and free radicals, those nasty molecules that cause skin to age prematurely.
Also eat: blackberries, pomegranate and strawberries - Pumpkin seeds
Why they make you look good: Pumpkin seeds have lots of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps slow down skin aging, and those omega-3 fatty acids that keep your skin smooth and your hair shiny. Studies also have shown them to reduce the appearance of acne and other skin problems.
Also try: chickpeas, sunflower seeds and chia seeds - Beans
Why they make you look good: Beans are high in protein but are also very lean, making beans a great part of any nutrition plan. They also provide the fatty acids your nails need to stay strong and prevent splitting.
Also try: eggs, chicken, lean meats and lentils - Green Tea
Why it makes you look good: "You can't get enough of green tea," Simpson says. It hydrates you, which helps your skin; it's loaded with antioxidants that have been shown to protect skin from sun damage; and it has an active ingredient that promotes a healthy metabolism. Choose a premium or organic blend to get the most active ingredient, Simpson advises. You also can find this ingredient in skin creams if you want a double-dose of those good-for-your-skin benefits.
Also try: white tea and black tea - Oysters
Why they make you look good: In addition to being a low-fat source of protein, which is great for healthy hair, shellfish contains high amounts of zinc, a mineral that can help prevent acne, boost your immune system and aid healing, Simpson says. Shellfish also contains B vitamins, which can make hair look shinier.
Also try: clams, mussels and lobster - Tomatoes
Why they make you look good: Tomatoes are full of fiber and vitamin A, which aids in the development of skin cells and the maintenance of skin cell health. A vitamin A deficiency can lead to dry skin. And tomatoes have lots of lycopene, which studies have shown helps protect the skin from UV stress (you still don't want to forgo the sunscreen).
Also eat: tomato pastes, carrots and sweet potatoes. - Oranges
Why they make you look good: Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that mops up free radicals, such as those produced by overexposure to the sun, that lead to the premature aging of skin. It also contains bioflavonoid, which promotes stronger collagen in the skin. Collagen helps skin look young and plump.
Also eat: grapefruits, cantaloupes and lemons
Dietary No-Nos
- Salt. Salt causes tissues to swell, and the subsequent deflating results in skin that is less elastic. Have you noticed how your face gets puffed up if you've eaten too many salty snacks the previous day?
- High sugar. You want to keep your blood sugar balanced to keep your skin looking healthy. Sugary snacks cause a large insulin spike and then a crash. This spike can trigger an inflammation in the skin's cells, and that reaction may lead to increased sebum levels that could clog up the glands.
- Caffeine. Caffeine can be beneficial to your skin, but too much can prevent your body from making good use of the vitamins and minerals from your food. Caffeine is also a natural diuretic, so if you drink too much, it may cause dehydration. And your skin needs fluids to look good.
- Alcohol. You know what a hangover feels like. Well, that's what alcohol does to your skin, making it dry, irritated and sallow-toned.
- Processed meats. The salt and preservatives in these meats can leave your skin looking dehydrated, dull and lifeless.

Top 5 Skin Care Tips for 2010
Drink a glass of water per hour. It really does help flush toxins through your system. It helps with deigestion, absorption, circulation and excreation.
- Incorporate vitamins (from A-to-Zinc) into your daily routine. For skin, the three best are vitamin A, vitamin E and zinc, which can combat stress breakouts and aid in regulating the skin’s oil gland activity.
- A quick fix for puffy eyes: Steep two tea bags. Refrigerate for 15 minutes and apply them to tired eyes. The mix of cold and herbs is sure to jump-start circulation and reduce inflammation.
Try battling breakouts with this homemade spot treatment: Combine one part brewer’s yeast and one part lemon extract. The brewer’s yeast will draw out impurities while the citric acid in the lemon will aid in cell turnover. It goes on quite wet, and it’ll dry and harden. That’s drawing out inpurities of the skin.
Bacteria can harbor in the most unthinkable places and come into contact with your skin causing breakouts. Make sure to change your pillowcase every other day, wash your makeup sponge or brush with antibacterial soap weekly, and dry your face after washing with a paper towel that you can throw away. These little extras may make all the difference.
